Islamabad: – Central Information Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Nadeem Afzal Chan, called on President Asif Ali Zardari today to discuss the escalating tensions in the region following India's recent aggression.
During the meeting, Chan reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to defend its sovereignty at all costs. **"We stand united, strong, and resolute against Indian hostility, he stated. The leaders emphasized national solidarity in the face of external threats and praised the armed forces for their swift and decisive response to Indian provocations.
President Zardari reiterated that Pakistan remains a peace-loving nation but will not hesitate to give a befitting reply to any act of aggression. He stressed the need for political unity and public morale in these testing times.
The meeting also reviewed the current security situation, with both leaders agreeing that India’s belligerent actions would only strengthen Pakistan’s determination to safeguard its territorial integrity.
