President Asif Ali Zardari today issued a forceful denunciation of India’s unprovoked cross-border attack on civilian areas in Pakistan. In an official statement, the President warned that Pakistan would deliver a strong and decisive response to any act of aggression.

He affirmed that India’s acts of provocation would be met with Pakistan’s full military strength and unwavering commitment to defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity. The President underscored that targeting civilian populations without any provocation constitutes a blatant violation of international law, the UN Charter, and Pakistan’s sovereign rights.

Highlighting national unity, President Zardari declared,

“The entire Pakistani nation stands united behind our brave armed forces.”

He further condemned the “cowardly actions” of the Indian government, saying they reveal the true face of a fascist regime and that Delhi is willing to jeopardize regional peace and security to advance its political agenda.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s readiness, the President stated,

“Our armed forces are fully prepared and capable of defending every inch of our homeland, and will respond decisively to any hostile act.”
