PPP Minority Wing Malir Holds General Workers Meeting with Large Attendance

May 5, 2025, Malir, Karachi — The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Minority Wing, Malir District, organized a General Workers Meeting yesterday at Patras Garden, Malir. The event saw a large gathering of party leaders, workers, and community members.

The meeting was presided over by Mushtaq Matto, President of the PPP Minority Wing Karachi Division, with Member of the Sindh Provincial Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Minority Affairs Sindh, Advocate Roma Mushtaq Matto, as the chief guest.

Prominent participants included Sohail Rajput, President of PPP Minority Wing Malir District; Rajesh Maheshwari, General Secretary of Malir District; senior leaders Nader Rafiq and Junaid Mushtaq Matto; former Senior Vice President Mehnga Khadim; Ilyas Mohan Gill; Tanveer Yousuf Bhatti; Ayub Bhatti; Amar Lal Bail; and Aniqah Wilson, along with many other leaders and workers from various areas of Malir.

Roma Mushtaq Matto emphasized during the meeting that "the true source of power is the people." She, along with Mushtaq Matto, attended the General Workers Meeting of the PPP Minority Wing Malir, answered people’s questions, listened to their concerns, and assured them that efforts would be made to resolve their issues. Roma Mushtaq Matto also expressed her gratitude to Mushtaq Matto and the entire PPP Minority Wing Malir team for their special invitation, saying they provided her the valuable opportunity to hear directly from the people about their problems.

A large number of women and workers from across Malir District attended the meeting. Participants shared detailed insights on the issues faced in their respective areas and emphasized the importance of strengthening local organizational structures of the PPP Minority Wing.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Arshad Younis Rahi, Secretary of Information and Broadcasting, issued a statement appreciating the enthusiasm and active participation of the workers.
