PPP Labour Bureau Hosts Dignified Ceremony in Nishtar Hall to Mark Labour Day

 

A dignified ceremony was organized by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Labour Bureau at Nishtar Hall to commemorate Labour Day. Provincial President of PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Syed Mohammad Ali Shah Bacha, delivered the presidential address. The event was attended by PPP Secretary General Humayun Khan, Benazir Income Support Programme Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid, members of the provincial cabinet, representatives of divisional and district organizations, and a large number of party workers. Labor associations from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also participated enthusiastically, expressing solidarity with the PPP.  

 

Speakers underscored the rights of the working class, the historical struggles of laborers, and the PPP’s labor-friendly policies. They emphasized that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto always prioritized the interests of workers and farmers, adding that current Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is advancing this legacy of public struggle. Detailed discussions were held on the party’s efforts to improve workers’ living standards, establish fair wage systems, and ensure social protection.  

 

Concluding the event, Provincial President Syed Mohammad Ali Shah Bacha congratulated PPP Labour Bureau Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Shah Zulqarnain and his team for successfully organizing the program. He reiterated the PPP’s historic role as a champion of workers’ rights and pledged to continue implementing policies that represent the laboring masses. Attendees lauded the party leadership’s efforts and demonstrated unity with the PPP’s vision.
