Pakistan Peoples Party's central leader and Member of National Assembly Sehar Kamran has stated in a news talk show that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is attempting to gain support from extremist Hindu nationalists by promoting an anti-Pakistan narrative due to declining popularity of himself and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

She emphasized that creating tensions with Pakistan before elections has been a consistent strategy of the BJP. Kamran highlighted that atrocities committed under the Hindutva ideology have occurred from Gujarat to Kashmir, while the targeted killings by India's intelligence agency "RAW" in Canada and the United States have also been exposed.

The National Assembly member further stated that "Pakistan's geographical importance and its ports are a cause of concern for India, which is why we need to remain extremely cautious." She expressed confidence that Pakistan's armed forces possess the complete capability to foil every conspiracy and deliver a befitting response, adding that "we have full confidence in our nuclear deterrence."

Sehar Kamran accused the Modi government of being fearful of international investigations and avoiding them. She said that attempts to create false narratives without evidence after "false flag" operations have failed. She further claimed that if proper investigations were conducted, other incidents including the Jaffar Express case would also come to light, and that Pakistan possesses solid evidence like the Kulbhushan Jadhav case.

She concluded her statement by saying that the spirit of Pakistan's armed forces and the nation has defeated India's narrative, and now the conspiracy to use water as a weapon of war by suspending the Indus Waters Treaty will also fail.
