Appointment of Deputy Commissioner Sialkot after the announcement of election in PP 52 is an open rigging: Syed Hassan Murtaza 

 

LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party Central Punjab General Secretary Syed Hassan Murtaza has strongly condemned the appointment of Deputy Commissioner in Sialkot and said that the change of Deputy Commissioner Sialkot after the PP 52 Sialkot schedule was announced is an open rigging . Under which law is the Punjab administration making appointments and transfers in Sialkot after the election schedule was announced? He said that the provincial government of the PML-N has panicked and resorted to high-handed tactics. The Chief Election Commissioner should immediately take notice of the transfer of Deputy Commissioner Sialkot. Hassan Murtaza further said that no posting can be made after taking charge from anyone after the election schedule. Government officers are employed by the state instead of an individual. He said that the PPP protests this and demands immediate notice from the Election Commission. Now that the nomination papers have been submitted, they are scared. What will these people do when the election field is opened? Therefore, the Election Commission should establish its writ in the constituencies with by-elections.
