Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi Addresses Media After Fatiha at Darbar Lahore

Lahore (Special Correspondent)– Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi spoke to the media after offering Fatiha at Data Darbar in Lahore on Thursday, addressing key issues concerning the country’s current situation. He dismissed the allegations against Pakistan regarding the Peshawar attack as baseless, stating that the accusations were made without any evidence.

Governor Kundi emphasized that Pakistan has always fought vigorously against terrorism and that the nation stands firmly with its armed forces. He recalled that whenever India attempted cross-border aggression in the past, it was met with a strong response, and Pakistan’s military remains fully capable of thwarting any aggression today.

Criticizing India harshly, he alleged that India is involved in 70% of terrorist incidents in Pakistan, using Afghan soil against the country. He accused India of trying to shift blame onto Pakistan and indulging in propaganda.

Discussing the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Governor Kundi stated that the people of the province desire peace, but unfortunately, the law and order situation remains unsatisfactory. He criticized the government, saying that its failure to open a mere 25-kilometer road reflects incompetence.

Commenting on internal conflicts within PTI, he remarked that party leaders are busy accusing each other, with ministers leveling allegations against fellow ministers.

Appealing to Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Governor Kundi urged him to take measures for improving stadiums, just as he has taken up the responsibilities of his office.

Expressing concern over NATO weapons left behind in Afghanistan, he stated that arms worth $8 to $10 billion are now in the hands of terrorists, contributing to instability in Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan.

Concluding his address, the governor confidently stated that Pakistan’s military, air force, and the entire nation are united and capable of responding forcefully to any aggressive move by India. He asserted that Pakistan is in safe hands, with all institutions committed to protecting the country and its people.
