Rana Azhar Waqar taken charge as the new Chairman of the (FEDMIC)
LAHORE: Rana Azhar Waqar has officially taken charge as the new Chairman of the Faisalabad Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (FEDMIC). After assuming office, he presided over the first meeting of the company's officers, which was attended by Engineer Amir Zameer Khan, Incharge Monitoring of the Planning Commission, FEDMIC Chief Executive Officer Mian Jamil Ahmed, and other senior officials.
During the meeting, the FEDMIC Chairman took notice of delays in the construction of a grid station, which has hindered the release of industrial connections.
Rana Azhar Waqar expressed special gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for reposing confidence in him and entrusting him with this key responsibility.
He reaffirmed his commitment for utilizing his full capabilities to transform FEDMIC into a model institution. He also urged the federal government to establish a modern "Expo Center" in Faisalabad, a major industrial hub of the country, to further boost industrial development under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
On the occasion, Engineer Amir Zameer Khan congratulated Chairman Rana Azhar Waqar on his appointment and extended his best wishes for his success. He assured that the federal government would provide all possible support to FEDMIC, emphasizing the institution's pivotal role in promoting industrial growth.
