Lahore: Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan attended the Iftar dinner held here today as the chief guest on the occasion of the launch of a documentary film on the life of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) at the Governor House Lahore. Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami, Irshad Arif, Hafeezullah Niazi, Syed Qasim Ali Shah and Dr. Amjad Saqib and other important personalities were present at the ceremony.

Addressing the ceremony , Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that it is a matter of great honor for him that today a documentary film made on the life of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was screened at the Governor House here at the Governor House Lahore. The Governor Punjab said that there is a dire need for such a documentary film to highlight the true identity of Islam in the world. He said that it is a matter of great regret that the face of Islam is being distorted in the world. He said that at this time, more than non-Muslims, muslims are required to follow the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He said that there are many things in Islam that we have forgotten and non-Muslims have adopted. The Governor of Punjab said that the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a beacon of light for Muslims. He said that we all need to strictly follow the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The Punjab Governor said that it is the duty of the Islamic scholars to present the life and character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the true sense before the world.
