RESOLUTION CONDEMNING ISRAELI BOMBING SUBMITTED IN PUNJAB ASSEMBLY BY HINA PERVAIZ BUTT

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of Punjab Assembly, Hina Pervaiz Butt, has submitted a resolution condemning Israel’s brutal bombing of unarmed Palestinians during Suhoor.  According to the text of the resolution, Israel carried out airstrikes on Palestinian Muslims despite a ceasefire, resulting in the martyrdom of 400 innocent civilians. The resolution termed this barbaric act a blatant violation of international laws, human rights, and the principles of warfare.  

The resolution urged the United Nations, the international community, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to take immediate notice of Israel’s war crimes. It also called on the federal government to intensify diplomatic efforts globally for the protection of Palestinian Muslims and take practical steps to increase pressure on Israel.
