LAHORE: Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced that today on 20th March is the last date to apply for the Chief Minister Laptop Scheme. So far, more than 250,000 students have registered for the laptops. BS students aspiring to receive a modern laptop can apply online till today.

 

The Minister emphasized that applications received after the deadline i.e 20th March, will not be considered. He further stated that the application link for the laptops has been advertised on the Higher Education Department’s social media pages. Students can apply online at: https://cmlaptophed.punjab.gov.pk/. The Minister Education Rana Sikandar Hayat also mentioned that under the scheme, 110,000 students will receive the latest laptops of 13th Generation. BS students from all Government universities in Punjab, specifically those in their first and second semesters, are eligible for the scheme and will be provided with high-performance Core i7 laptops. The Minister added that all relevant information has been made available on the Punjab Higher Education Department's website. The merit criteria for BS students have been set at 65%, while for medical students, it is 80%. This merit will be determined based on intermediate-level academic scores.
