LAHORE: Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan on Wednesday hosted an Iftar dinner in honor of senior leaders and workers of the Pakistan Peoples Party Lahore at the Governor House Lahore.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that the workers of the Pakistan Peoples Party are its real asset who always stand shoulder to shoulder with the party. He expressed optimism about the future prospects of the party, predicting that it will succeed in gaining its popularity not only in Punjab but also in other provinces of the country. The Governor of Punjab said that he was committed to bringing together senior leaders and disgruntled workers of the PPP in one place. He said that the Iftar dinners will continue for the party workers. The Governor of Punjab further said that the PPP will continue the politics of reconciliation for the development, prosperity and wider interest of the people of the country. He gave a message to all political leaders to sit together and remain united. The Governor of Punjab said that Ramadan gives us the opportunity to be tolerant, forbearing and forgiving. On this occasion, Governor of Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan sat with the party workers and workers and had Iftar . The Governor of Punjab appealed to the philanthropists to include the deserving in their Iftars and Sehris in this blessed month of Ramadan.
