President Zardari Commends Security Forces’ Bravery in Awaran Operation, Condemns Kalat Terrorist Attack
Expressing deep sorrow over the Kalat bus attack, the President described it as a barbaric and inhumane act targeting innocent civilians.
ISLAMABAD — President Asif Ali Zardari has issued a strong message of appreciation and condemnation in response to recent incidents of terrorism in Balochistan.
On one hand, he praised the successful intelligence-based operation conducted by security forces in Awaran, where three terrorists affiliated with the "Fitna-e-Hindustan" network were eliminated. On the other hand, he strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack on a passenger bus in Kalat that resulted in civilian casualties.
President Zardari hailed the courage and professionalism of the security forces, stating that the Awaran operation exemplifies Pakistan’s unyielding commitment to eradicating terrorism. He paid tribute to Major Syed Rabnawaz Tariq Shaheed, who embraced martyrdom during the operation, saying the nation will always honor the sacrifices of its martyrs.
