Lahore: Khalid Gill, a leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and a ticket holder for both National and Provincial Assembly seats, has offered his services for the position of PPP Lahore President.

Gill claims that, after Aslam Gill, he is the most knowledgeable figure in Lahore’s party structure, asserting that he is deeply familiar with every union council, neighborhood, street, and locality of the city. “I am a worker, and I maintain direct contact and close relations with every PPP worker in Lahore,” he stated, emphasizing that this grassroots connection makes him the ideal choice for the leadership position.

He further remarked, “Lahore is the heart of Punjab. Strengthening the party here would mean reclaiming Punjab as the fortress of the PPP.” Highlighting the strategic importance of NA-127, Gill stressed the need for focused efforts in the constituency. “If PPP wins from NA-127 in the upcoming elections, it will emerge as the largest party in Lahore,” he asserted.
