Governor Kundi Honors Sania Kamran for National Morale-Boosting Writings

PESHAWAR: June 22, 2025 — In a spirited and dignified ceremony held at the Governor House in Peshawar, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi led the nation in commemorating the remarkable victory of Operation Bunyān al-Marsūs—celebrated nationwide as a Markaz-e-Haq (Symbol of Truth) and a landmark triumph of truth and justice.
The prestigious event drew a distinguished gathering of political leaders, diplomats, media professionals, and civil society figures from across Pakistan. Among those in attendance were former governors Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and Engineer Shaukatullah, Leader of the Opposition Dr. Ibadullah, Qaumi Watan Party Provincial President Sikandar Hayat Sherpao, and Iranian Consul General Ali Banafsha Khwah. Prominent TV anchors, social media influencers, and members of the provincial assembly also graced the occasion.
In his keynote address, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi paid glowing tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces for their courageous and historic response to Indian aggression. “This victory is not only a military milestone but a diplomatic triumph as well,” he stated, highlighting the multifaceted strength of the nation. He further emphasized the collective pride of Pakistanis and the broader Muslim Ummah in the country’s defense forces.
During the ceremony, former Member Punjab Assembly and noted political leader Ms. Sania Kamran was honored by Governor Kundi for her exceptional literary contributions, which significantly uplifted national morale during the Operation. Her compelling writings and articulate advocacy became a source of strength and inspiration, reinforcing Pakistan’s narrative in the face of adversity.
Governor Kundi extended heartfelt thanks to all guests who travelled from across the country, saying their presence was a testament to national unity. He also acknowledged the pivotal role played by Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in amplifying Pakistan’s perspective on global platforms, calling the recent U.S. President’s hospitality towards Pakistan’s Field Marshal “an unprecedented diplomatic success.”

Ms. Sania Kamran, a seasoned public representative with over 15 years of dedicated political service, was recognized not only for her patriotic writings but also for her broader contributions to democratic governance, women’s empowerment, and policy development. Her work spans roles such as Parliamentary Secretary for Women Development, member of the Punjab Education Foundation, Punjab Bait-ul-Maal Council, SDGs Task Force, and Convener of the Electronic Media Wing of the Punjab Government. She is also an alumna of NDU-NSW25.
Internationally, she has represented Pakistan at forums in China, Germany, Uzbekistan, and Dubai Expo 2022, further strengthening Pakistan’s global diplomatic standing.
