Islamabad: Chairman of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and head of Pakistan's diplomatic mission, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has strongly condemned Israel's unprovoked attack on Iran, expressing deep condolences and solidarity with the Iranian people during this challenging time.
In a statement, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari lamented the loss of precious lives and warned of the grave threat posed to regional peace and stability. "The Israeli attack on Iran has resulted in a tragic loss of life and has put the region's security at severe risk," he said.
The PPP chairman called upon responsible nations and the United Nations to play their role in de-escalating tensions. "We urge all responsible countries and the UN to act collectively to uphold international law and mitigate the rising tensions," he emphasized.
Bilawal further stated that a positive role by the international community could pave the way for promoting peace and security in the world, moving away from aggression and conflict.
