KARACHI / ISLAMABAD / LAHORE Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari denounced the recent terror attacks in Quetta and Surab yesterday with a deep sense of sorrow for the loss of precious lives and reiterated that the country stood together as one in its battle against terrorism.

In a statement released by the Bilawal House Media Cell, the PPP chairman mourned the explosion at Nawan Killi in Quetta, which killed two people. He also lamented the martyrdom of Surab Additional Deputy Commissioner Hidayatullah Buledi, who was martyred in a different terrorist attack in the Surab district. Paying tribute to the slain officer, Bilawal said the nation would never forget Buledi’s sacrifice and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated that individuals who spill innocent blood at the command of enemies have no right to mercy. He made it clear that the whole country is united against terrorism and is committed completely towards eradicating terrorists for good. "The Pakistani nation and their defense forces are determined to uproot this evil once and for all," he said.

The announcement by the PPP chairman comes in the wake of a renewed upsurge of terrorist violence in Balochistan and elsewhere in the country. He appealed for national unity in the face of the danger posed by such threats and reaffirmed his party's backing for actions to enhance security and counter-terrorism measures.

The attacks have been widely condemned by political leaders, security personnel, civilian society, and calls for stepped-up action against militant factions in the area. Both incidents are under investigation by authorities, as security forces maintain high alertness levels to ward off additional violence.
