Lahore (May 29, 2025) — President Asif Ali Zardari met with a delegation comprising prominent political and social figures from the central districts of Punjab in Lahore.

The delegation included former Federal Minister Rana Farooq Saeed Khan, Tanveer Ashraf Kaira, Bilal Farooq, Umar Farooq, Usama Farooq, Ali Jafar, and Hira Tanveer.

During the meeting, the delegation briefed the President on key issues facing the people of Faisalabad, Gujrat, Hafizabad, and other central Punjab districts. They also presented suggestions for engaging youth in national development.

President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized that:

“Equal development across all regions, national unity, and the strengthening of democratic institutions are our top priorities.”

Highlighting the importance of youth, he stated:

“The younger generation is our greatest asset. Through their education, training, and active participation, we can lay the foundation for a prosperous Pakistan.”

He further noted:

“Ensuring cooperation among all units at the federal level, promoting coordination with provinces, and safeguarding the welfare of citizens is a national imperative.”

The meeting focused on development and collaborative efforts for the betterment of the country.
