On the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer, Central President of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Women’s Wing and Member of the Sindh Assembly Faryal Talpur issued a powerful statement, saluting the scientists, military, and political leadership behind Pakistan’s emergence as the first Muslim nuclear power.

Faryal Talpur paid rich tribute to the founding father of Pakistan’s nuclear program, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, for his unmatched vision and sacrifice in making Pakistan invincible. “Zulfikar Ali Bhutto dreamt of a sovereign and undefeatable Pakistan and paid every price to turn that dream into reality,” she said.

Remembering the dedication of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Talpur emphasized her instrumental role in materializing her father’s dream. “She worked tirelessly to empower national institutions and pursued the nuclear vision with unwavering commitment,” Talpur noted.

Faryal Talpur also highlighted the vision of President Asif Ali Zardari, stating that “a united and secure Pakistan is a strong Pakistan.” She further reaffirmed the determination of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, whose leadership continues to champion prosperity, sovereignty, and the protection of democratic values and public rights.

“Youm-e-Takbeer is a day of pride for every Pakistani,” Talpur stated, adding, “It reminds us that when our intentions are strong, no path is too difficult.” She called on all citizens to dedicate their efforts to making Pakistan stronger, more prosperous, and self-reliant.

She concluded by reiterating the PPP’s commitment to the country's independence and democratic traditions: “The PPP will always stand at the forefront in safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty, people’s rights, and democratic values.”
