Youm-e-Takbeer: Bhutto Family's Sacrifices Made Pakistan Invincible, Says Hasan Murtaza
Lahore: Youm-e-Takbeer teaches us never to compromise on national integrity and sovereignty. This was stated by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Hasan Murtaza in his message on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer today. He said that the foundation for the nuclear tests conducted 27 years ago was laid by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, due to which Pakistan's territory remains secure today.
Hasan Murtaza expressed pride that Pakistan has become invincible against its enemies because of the nuclear program initiated by Shaheed Bhutto. He also recalled the advancement of missile technology during the tenure of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, stating that her foresight has equipped Pakistan with modern defense capabilities.
He further stated that the third generation of the Bhutto family continues to defend the country on external fronts. The Pakistan Air Force's advanced JF-17 Thunder aircraft and other defense capabilities are also the result of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto's vision. He emphasized that from the soldiers standing at the borders to modern tanks and artillery, all these achievements were made possible under the leadership of the PPP.
Murtaza said that the strong defense system Pakistan takes pride in today is the result of the sacrifices and martyrdom of the PPP. He described the nuclear tests of May 28, 1998, as a crucial step in restoring the balance of power in the region. In the end, he paid tribute to the scientists and armed forces personnel who made the country's defense invincible.
