Quetta (Special Correspondent) — President of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Women’s Wing Balochistan and Deputy Speaker of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly, Ghazala Gola, has strongly condemned the recent attack on a PPP rally in Peshawar, which was part of the “Save the Province Movement.”

Terming the incident as “highly condemnable,” Ghazala Gola criticized the provincial authorities for using force against peaceful political activity. “The baton charge on a peaceful protest is unacceptable and a direct attack on democratic rights,” she said.

She further stated that the shelling on PPP provincial office-bearers and workers was a blatant example of fascism. "Tear gas and violence cannot suppress voices raised for rights," she asserted.

Gola accused the incompetent and corrupt provincial government of using oppression to hide its failures and corruption. "The real fascist face of the PTI-led government now stands exposed before the public," she added.

The PPP leader reiterated her party’s commitment to democracy, the constitution, and public rights. She emphasized that no amount of violence or intimidation would deter the PPP from continuing its peaceful struggle.
