KARACHI: First Lady and Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Asifa Bhutto Zardari met with an Iranian delegation led by Dr. Rehanna Raisi, daughter of the late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, at Bilawal House. The two sides held detailed discussions on enhancing bilateral relations between Pakistan and Iran and explored various aspects of regional cooperation.
During the meeting, prayers were also offered for the late President Ebrahim Raisi, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, and all martyrs. The Iranian delegation emphasized strengthening the deep historical and cultural ties between the two nations, while the First Lady highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation based on mutual interests.
Both sides expressed optimism about positive progress on matters of shared concern and reiterated their commitment to working on joint projects in the future. The meeting underscored the desire to further solidify Pakistan-Iran relations through sustained dialogue and collaboration.
