Islamabad: Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Rubina Khalid, met with senior Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Sardar Sarbuland Khan Jogezai along with a delegation of party leaders from Balochistan at her office.

During the meeting, various social and economic challenges faced by women in Balochistan were discussed in detail. The participants explored proposals regarding the establishment of technical training centers for women, the creation of employment opportunities, and efforts to empower women in the region.

Chairperson Rubina Khalid highlighted the ongoing initiatives under BISP aimed at the welfare and empowerment of women. She reaffirmed her commitment to expanding these programs further in Balochistan to ensure broader outreach and impact.

The delegation included PPP Balochistan leaders Haji Rabbani Khan Khilji, Malik Zeeshan Hussain, Mir Khalid Khan Jamali, Jawad Ahmad Khan, Siraj Aziz, and Irfan Chishti.

The meeting concluded in a cordial atmosphere, with both sides reaffirming their dedication to working together for the progress and well-being of women in Balochistan.
