Raja Pervaiz Ashraf Condemns Malicious Petition Against Bilawal Bhutto, Calls It Political Fear-Mongering**
Lahore:Former Prime Minister and President of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central Punjab, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, has strongly denounced the writ petition filed against Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the Lahore High Court, labeling it as a malicious attempt driven by political motives. Ashraf asserted that those targeting Bilawal Bhutto through legal channels are doing so out of fear of his growing public support and popularity.
He criticized the petitioners for wasting the judiciary’s time with frivolous and baseless petitions, emphasizing that the Election Commission of Pakistan has already validated Bilawal Bhutto’s election as the PPP chairman. Ashraf further stated that the sole intention behind such misleading petitions is to tarnish the political environment and undermine democratic processes.
Reaffirming the PPP’s resolve, Ashraf declared that the party’s young and dynamic leadership cannot be deterred by such underhanded tactics. He reiterated the party’s commitment to facing political challenges head-on while continuing to serve the people of Pakistan.
