Lahore, Pakistan — Former Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) and senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sania Kamran has strongly criticized India’s decision to block social media accounts linked to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other party leaders, labeling the move as “shameful” and indicative of India’s “fear of reality.”

In a fiery statement on Thursday, Ms. Kamran accused India of attempting to suppress the PPP’s efforts to expose what she described as the “ugly, deceitful, and evil face” of the Indian government on global platforms. “India’s decision to shut down these accounts reflects its panic in the face of truth. The PPP has consistently revealed India’s malicious intentions to the world, and this campaign will continue unabated,” she asserted.

Ms. Kamran lauded Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s role as a key advocate for Pakistan’s interests internationally, emphasizing that his responsibility to present Pakistan’s case on global stages underscores a “solid strategic vision.” She highlighted his unique qualifications, rooted in the Bhutto family’s legacy of diplomacy and statesmanship.

“Having closely observed our nation’s diplomatic endeavors, I am confident that Bilawal embodies the leadership qualities urgently needed in today’s volatile geopolitical landscape,” she stated. “Pakistan now has a voice that speaks with authority on global platforms—a voice that respects our principles and creates space for peaceful resolutions, which our region desperately needs.”

The PPP leader underscored the unparalleled contributions of the Bhutto family to Pakistan’s diplomatic history. She drew parallels between Bilawal’s efforts and those of his grandfather, former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto—a founding architect of Pakistan’s foreign policy—and his mother, former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, whose international stature remains iconic.

“Like his grandfather Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and mother Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Bilawal carries a global recognition that transcends ordinary political boundaries. When he advocates for Pakistan abroad, he does so with an authority rooted not just in his position but in his family’s enduring legacy of service to this nation,” she remarked.

The remarks come amid ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, with the PPP positioning itself as a vocal critic of India’s policies, particularly in contested regions like Kashmir.

She suggested Chairman Bilawal’s proactive engagement on international platforms, including his recent interviews on international News channels, aligns with the PPP’s broader strategy to galvanize global support for Pakistan’s geopolitical stances.

As Sania Kamran’s statement reverberates across political circles, the PPP reaffirms its commitment to challenging India’s narrative while championing Chairman Bilawal’s role as a bridge between Pakistan’s diplomatic heritage and contemporary strategic imperatives. For now, the party’s resolve to keep “exposing India’s actions” signals no retreat in this high-stakes geopolitical duel.
