RCDS-RCDP Celebrates Silver Jubilee with Nationwide Recognition of Microfinance Achievements 25th aniversary

LAHORE - The Rural Community Development Program (RCDS) marked a significant milestone today as it celebrated its 25th anniversary with a grand ceremony that brought together team members from across Pakistan. The event highlighted the organization's quarter-century of contributions to microfinance and rural development throughout the nation.
Muhammad Murtaza, CEO of RCDS, served as the chief guest of the celebration, which featured numerous speakers discussing the transformative impact of microfinance on rural communities and RCDP's pioneering role in this sector over the past 25 years.
In recognition of their dedicated service, team members from various regions of Pakistan were honored with special gifts, including Umrah packages and international travel tickets. Field area teams were additionally awarded with monetary gifts of 700,000 rupees in appreciation of their frontline work in implementing RCDS's microfinance initiatives. RCDP-RCDS (Rural Community Development Programme - Rural Community Development Society) is celebrating its 25th anniversary (Silver Jubilee) by highlighting its nationwide achievements in microfinance, including an initiative to provide bicycles for women.
The silver jubilee celebration was attended by several distinguished figures from Pakistan's microfinance sector. Notable among them was Roshaneh Zafar, founder and Managing Director of Kashf Foundation, who joined the festivities to commemorate RCDS's achievements. The event also saw participation from key executives of the Pakistan Microfinance Investment Company Limited (PMIC), including CEO Yasir Ashfaq and Chief Operating Officer Saqib Siddiqui.
The owner of this project muhammad murtaza ,Lahore division of RCDS was well represented,Qaiser Iqbal, Managing Director of RCDS with Maria Kokab, Director of the Lahore project, in attendance. Other key organizational leaders present included along with various team members who have contributed to the organization's success.
During the event, speakers reflected on RCDS's journey over the past 25 years, emphasizing how the organization has grown from its humble beginnings to become a significant force in Pakistan's microfinance landscape. Discussions highlighted the organization's commitment to financial inclusion and poverty alleviation through sustainable microfinance solutions.
