Kamra:Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif declared that Pakistan’s brave "Shaheens" (eagles) shattered the enemy’s arrogance and pride within hours, decisively altering the balance of power in the region. He emphasized that Pakistan’s resounding response sent a clear message: any future aggression will be crushed underfoot. Addressing Pakistan Air Force personnel during his visit to Kamra Air Base on Thursday, the Prime Minister asserted that India’s involvement in the Jaffar Express incident has been exposed, and lasting peace in the region hinges on resolving the Kashmir dispute in line with UN resolutions.

Accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, PM Shehbaz extended heartfelt congratulations to the armed forces and the nation for this historic victory.

The Prime Minister lauded the PAF’s unmatched professionalism and courage, stating that from May 6 to May 10, the world stood awestruck as Pakistan’s forces outmaneuvered the enemy, lighting up the skies and bolstering the confidence of allies. "This is a victory unlike any other in Pakistan’s history—one that has rewritten global perceptions," he proclaimed.

He paid tribute to the nation’s unity, noting how millions prayed day and night for the armed forces’ success. "Three Rafales were downed—a feat the world and Modi will never forget," he said, crediting the triumph to the legacy of heroes like MM Alam and Sarfaraz Rafiqui.

PM Shehbaz warned adversaries against mistaking Pakistan’s desire for peace as weakness. "The enemy martyred innocent children—our future—but our forces struck back with precision, leaving them stunned," he said. "Those who sacrifice for the motherland will never be forgotten."

He called for regional peace, urging India to engage in dialogue rather than hostility. "Kashmir remains drenched in blood, and its people’s right to self-determination, as per UN resolutions, cannot be ignored," he stressed.

The Prime Minister dismissed India’s baseless allegations regarding the Pahalgam incident, stating that the world now recognizes its hollow claims. "The majority stands with Pakistan’s stance," he asserted, demanding transparent investigations into India’s involvement in terrorism, including the Jaffar Express and Samjhauta Express attacks.

"Pakistan’s armed forces are determined to eradicate terrorism," he declared. "But if peace is the goal, let us sit and talk—identify who is truly fueling terror."
