PPP-Led Doctors' Delegation Meets Punjab Governor, Demands Resolution of Grievances
Lahore: A delegation of doctors, headed by senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Dr. Rizwan Bhayo, held a meeting with Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at Governor House Lahore to protest against the provincial government's "anti-doctor policies." PPP Central Punjab General Secretary Syed Hassan Murtaza was also present during the discussion.
The delegation detailed their concerns regarding the Punjab government's policies, which they claimed were detrimental to medical professionals. Governor Khan assured them that their demands would be forwarded to the relevant authorities for redress.
Syed Hassan Murtaza emphasized that it was their responsibility to advocate for public and professional rights, vowing to push for a fair resolution. Dr. Bhayo expressed gratitude for the governor's support, reiterating PPP's commitment to fighting injustices. The governor gave a positive response to the delegation's grievances, raising hopes for an early resolution.
