Lahore: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan People's Party Central Punjab President Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that the ceasefire in Pakistan and India is a victory for peace, and he is grateful to friendly countries Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran and the United States. He said that the ceasefire was possible due to Pakistani reaction after the Indian incursion, and he congratulates Pakistan's military and political leadership. The former Prime Minister further said that the entire nation should offer prayers of thanks for the new progress, and that solutions to long-standing problems will have to be found through dialogue, not wars.
